2023-2024 Reflections contest is underway!
National PTA Reflections is a student recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities are encouraged tp participate. This year’s theme is “I am hopeful because…”
Awards will be given on school, state, and national levels for the best entries in the following categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Musical Composition, Photography and Visual Arts.
Students with disabilities may receive special accommodations by entering the special artist division.
To participate, please complete the Masonboro Elementary Google Form to receive the official entry form and contest rules.
Official forms and art/theme submissions must be submitted to the Masonboro PTA online by November 3, 2023.
School winners for the arts contest will be announced mid November and will be forwarded for the county contest.

How to Enter
All entries must be submitted online.
1. Download the Student Entry Form
You can find it here.
2. Student Information
Complete the student information section on the form. When the form is complete, take a photo of it. This is the version of the entry form that will be submitted during the entry process. Please do not alter the pre-filled PTA section at the top.
3. Photograph your work
Photograph your art piece if it is a tangible, physical format (i.e. a painting or sculpture) rather than digital.
4. Submit digitally.
*All entries must be submitted digitally.
Email masonboroptawebsite@gmail.com with the following:
The student’s name, teacher’s name and grade in the subject line.
Type the artist’s statement and include it in the body of the email.
Attach the entry form and digital copy of the artwork.
5. Submit tangible work
If your work is in a tangible, physical format (i.e. a painting or sculpture), please deliver it to Masonboro Elementary on November 3, 2023 between 7:15 AM - 9:00 AM. Please make sure your name is on your project.
